First Lady of Zimbabwe Auxillia Mnangagwa on a visit to Belarus

In accordance with the agreements reached between the presidents of Belarus and Zimbabwe during Aleksandr Lukashenko’s state visit to Harare, the wife of the President of Zimbabwe, Auxillia Mnangagwa, is visiting our country, with Belarus’ Foreign Minister Sergei Aleinik holding a meeting with the First Lady

The Head of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry warmly welcomed the African guest on behalf of the President, the Government and the Foreign Ministry, “Your visit is historic, since you are in Belarus for the first time. It’s also historic in the light of the co-operation agreements reached by our presidents. They paved this path towards interaction in thirty years since the establishment of diplomatic relations. Today’s collaboration can be called a breakthrough across many areas of our bilateral relations. We look forward to and are ready to work towards achieving the goals set by our heads of state.”

Sergei Aleinik stressed that Belarus and Zimbabwe have entered a new period of relations, having strengthened political and economic ties, “We are also developing humanitarian co-operation, as you will see during your visit.”

The key topics during the visit of the first lady of Zimbabwe will be healthcare, medical science, maternity and child health.
