“Today it is already clear which forces stand behind this intervention. Naturally, these are the United States, NATO, possibly Turkey and radical Islamist forces, which – no matter how paradoxical it may be – always implement their plans either with the tacit consent of the West, or co-ordinating their own actions with Washington. So it turns out that the CSTO forces have shown how relevant this organisation is, how necessary it is and that for the first time in international history, the colour revolution was stopped due to the co-ordination of efforts of the countries that make up this alliance,” said Pavel Feldman.

The expert underlined that the alliance, created as an alternative to NATO, in practice turns out to be much more successful than its North Atlantic partner. “It is necessary to be able to recognise both victories and defeats. Undoubtedly, what happened in Kazakhstan is the victory of the post-Soviet countries, the victory of Russia, Belarus, and the legitimate authorities of Kazakhstan over the collective West,” he added.
