Expert: Russia and China, labelled by Americans as enemies, prevent US from ruling the whole world

The US and the EU continue to use sanctions tools to address global issues. At the same time, there is a wide range of opinions around the crisis in Ukraine, and military analyst Igor Chibisov told the sb.by portal about how the geopolitical situation could develop further.

“Now there’s a transition to a multipolar world order. Why the US – a country with 14.1 percent of the world’s population – believes that it is the only one with the status of a superpower? It is prevented from spreading ‘free democracy’ and ruling the whole world by Russia and China, whom the Americans have labelled as enemies. The US is fomenting a cold war with China because it sees it as a threat to its leadership and hegemony. However, before starting to fight with the PRC, using the situation with the island of Taiwan, the Americans are trying to ‘close the issue’ with Russia. After the collapse of the USSR, the main task of America today is to wear Russia out as much as possible during a special military operation in Ukraine and gain access to its minerals,” explained the expert.

“Whatever sanctions the Americans apply to Russia and Belarus, most developing states intend to maintain good diplomatic and economic relations with the Union State. The West failed to isolate Belarus and Russia…,” he added.

“I will note an interesting fact: the BRICS countries have actually caught up with the G7 in terms of GDP, calculated at purchasing power parity. That same reality is coming: a multipolar world,” concluded Igor Chibisov.
