Exhibition of uniform manufacturers on show in Minsk

Textiles with special properties, special shoes, haberdashery, accessories and other latest developments of the light industry are presented by Belarusian manufacturers involved in uniform production

The exhibition is held for the first time in the country, at the National School of Beauty. Previously, Belarusian manufacturers demonstrated their products designed for defence departments, customs authorities, the Belarusian Railway, the Forestry Ministry and other agencies at the Bellegprom annual specialised fair.

“This year, on the eve of the New Year, we decided to hold such an exhibition independently since the Bellegprom Concern and the Belarusian Association of Light Industry unite many manufacturers of special clothing, footwear, haberdashery and textiles. The show features the already popular products and also new developments by more than 30 manufacturers,” Tatiana Lugina, the Chairperson of the Bellegprom Concern, says. “Each of them continues working: new materials, shoe models and accessories are constantly being developed, so customers can get acquainted with all products available in the country now, while also communicating with manufacturers.”

According to Ms. Lugina, there are plans to hold similar meetings once a year, so that customers can see what state-run and private companies manufacture. “In the current market situation, import substitution is among the most topical tasks – so we want to demonstrate that we can produce everything," Ms. Lugina stressed.
