European ruling elites mindlessly follow Washington instructions, expert states
European politicians do not act in the interests of their states and citizens, but only thoughtlessly do what they are told in Washington – as noted by the Rector of the Academy of Management under the President of the Republic of Belarus, candidate of historical sciences Vyacheslav Danilovich, in his talk with the ONT TV channel
“European ruling elites do not think about the EU interests. They rather thoughtlessly follow Washington instructions. Meanwhile, the United States does not need a competitor with a powerful economy. The US needs instability. On the one hand, it is benefitting as a result of Europe’s refusal of Russian resources, but on the other hand, it is eliminating a geopolitical competitor, making it dependent,” the expert said.
According to Mr. Danilovich, the problem is rooted in the fact that ruling elites in Ukraine and the European Union are not independent. “They are also mercantile, and corruption is present. These are externally controlled elites," he explained.
