“For the first time in the EAEU, the technical regulation establishes uniform mandatory requirements for the following types of products put into circulation on the territory of the Union: means of civil defence shelters; technical means of control, communication and notification; technical means of monitoring emergency situations; emergency rescue means,” Ms. Malkina informed.

The official explained that there are currently no mandatory requirements for such products on the territory of the EAEU member states.

“Implementation of the technical regulation will enhance the safety of products used in emergency situations, the level of mobility of interstate interaction when making emergency decisions and, as a result, the effectiveness of rescue processes in emergency situations. The document will enter into force on June 1st, 2023,” she added.
