Eswatini PM visited Minsk Dairy Plant No. 1
The Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Eswatini, Russell Mmiso Dlamini, has visited the Minsk Dairy Plant No. 1 together with a delegation, where Director General Tamara Chichiro familiarised the honoured guests with the history, production capabilities and technological processes of the enterprise
The participants of the event were shown the operation of a milk bottling line and a yogurt workshop. They were also demonstrated the workshop where feta cheese is packed. Moreover, the guests were able to see how baby food and sour cream are produced on this production site. According to Deputy Director General for Commercial Affairs Lilia Shamardinova, a wide range of products from 300 items was displayed to the delegation and a tasting event was organised.
Today, the African continent occupies a small share in the dairy factory’s export portfolio — less than 1 percent. The company exported its goods to Mauritania and Egypt, with other supplies in this direction being currently worked out. The meeting can play a good role in the plant’s expanding its export deliveries.
