Erdogan: Israel poses biggest threat to region’s stability

President of Turkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan has blamed Israel for destabilising the situation in the Middle East, TASS reports

According to Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Israel's attacks on Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, Iran and the recent strike on Qatar prove that this country ‘poses the main threat to stability in our region’. At the same time, the Turkish leader expressed satisfaction with the latest developments related to Hamas’ response to Donald Trump's so-called peace plan.

The President of Turkiye also stressed that the settlement of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict is possible only according to the ‘two-state solution’.
