Erdogan administration accuses West of trying to destabilise Türkiye
Western countries, supporting terrorists, are trying to destabilise the situation in Türkiye – as stated by the Head of the Communications Department of the Turkish Presidential Administration Fahrettin Altun, TASS reports
“Our Western allies must think long and hard about the support they provide [meaning support for Kurdish organisations recognised by Ankara as terrorist]. They are directly or indirectly trying to destabilise the situation in our country. Their support results in loss of innocent Turkish lives,” he said.
Moreover, Fahrettin Altun also lashed out at the West’s strategic arguments about fighting terrorists with terrorists.
“You cannot fight terrorists with terrorists. You can only do it through an alliance of countries committed to fighting terror,” the Head of the Communications Department of the Turkish Presidential Administration underlined.
