Election 2025: Belarus’ CEC continues to accept documents for registration of Presidential candidates

On December 11th, the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Belarus accepted documents for registration of Oleg Gaidukevich and Aleksandr Khizhnyak as Presidential candidates of the Republic of Belarus. In accordance with the calendar plan for the preparation of the 2025 election, the documents required for registration as a Presidential candidate must be submitted to the CEC by December 21st inclusive. Documents can be submitted both by potential Presidential candidates themselves and by their representatives by power of attorney.
