Eismont on upcoming Presidential Address: Head of State is preparing tremendously

The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, is engaged into tremendous preparations for his upcoming Address to the Belarusian People and National Assembly scheduled for March 31st – as stated by Natalya Eismont, the press secretary of the Head of State, in her talk with the STV TV channel, BelTA reports

"The situation around us is changing rapidly, and – accordingly – the importance of such events is also quickly increasing. Of course, this has always been fundamental, one of the most important events of any calendar year in the President’s schedule, but it is actually hardly possible to overestimate the importance of the Address and the attention it receives this year. This attention is observed not only inside Belarus, but also far beyond the country,” Ms. Eismont said. “The understanding and awareness of the importance dictates more serious preparation rules, because the theses – that the Head of State will voice – are so important for further understanding and further work of the country and its whole society, that they cannot be short-term and prepared very quickly."

Ms. Eismont stressed that only by being as deeply immersed as possible in all these processes, in all the smallest nuances and details, the President prepares his messages to society.

"We have already said how the President will be listened to in 2023. Of course, the Head of State is well aware of this, and the responsibility in preparing this event is enormous. Every thesis, every word, every letter, sentence, and even a pause must be precisely thought of and verified. By realising this, the President is making tremendous preparations," the press secretary said.
