President’s Press Secretary met with foreign participants of Time of Our Victories show: you’ll receive small gifts from Head of State

Press Secretary of the President of Belarus Natalya Eismont has greeted foreign participants of the show on behalf of the Head of State before the sports and entertainment show – Time of Our Victories – which will take place today at Minsk Arena, BelTA reports

“I am very pleased to welcome you all before our show on behalf of our President, whom I am sure you all know very well, to welcome you in our country, the Republic of Belarus, to welcome you here at Minsk Arena. Today, together with you, we are becoming participants in an event that is historic for our country in the social and cultural sphere. Such a scale of the show has never been held in our country before. This is such a bold idea of the organisers,” Ms. Eismont noted.

The Press Secretary of the Head of State noted that today Belarusian athletes are not alone, but in company of their best friends from all over the world.

“Your countries – Russia and China – are our strategic partners. We are always together, both in good times and in slightly more difficult times. Today’s show is the most direct confirmation of this. So once again, on behalf of the President, welcome to our country! I really hope you like it here. I realise you work here. You have rehearsals all the time, and you don’t have time for any excursions or entertainment. Nevertheless, I hope that you managed to see our country at least a little bit. And of course, we will always be happy to see you,” she assured.

Ms. Eismont noted that this does not only apply to sports competitions or entertainment projects, “Just come to Belarus for a visit! Our country is beautiful and our food is delicious. I think not all of you can eat a lot, but sometimes you can eat a little bit.”

The Press Secretary of the Belarusian leader added on her own behalf that foreign participants make a huge contribution to the show Time of Our Victories and grace it with their national flavour.

“That’s the most important thing. You represent your countries at their very best, being the jewel of the show. We are very grateful to you,” she said.

Ms. Eismont drew attention to the fact that surprises are waiting for foreign guests at the hotel.

“Small gifts from the President are waiting for you to make your visit memorable. So that you can keep this memory of today’s event,” the President’s Press Secretary concluded.
