Eismont: Belarusian Women’s Union will always be at forefront of good and necessary initiatives

The Belarusian Women’s Union will always be at the forefront of the necessary initiatives – as stated by Natalya Eismont, the Press Secretary of the President of Belarus, speaking at a meeting the Belarusian Women’s Union’s Board

“You know very well the attitude of our President towards Belarusian women: unconditional trust and unconditional love. However, in this regard, a very serious responsibility is imposed on the Belarusian Women’s Union,” Natalya Eismont underlined.

“I know very well how strong the word of the Belarusian Women’s Union sounded in September 2020. It sounded strong both in our country and far beyond its borders,” said Natalya Eismont.

The Press Secretary of the President also recalled how the public organisation worked at the border last year, which was not the easiest, “When thousands of poor and unfortunate people fled in search of a better life, we went there, the President came there, and we saw the role of the Belarusian Women’s Union there.”

Ms. Eismont emphasised that it is necessary to stay alert, “Of course, it won’t be easy, times are difficult nowadays. Frankly speaking, we all need to be prepared for anything. But I’m absolutely convinced that the Belarusian Women’s Union knows what to do. The difficulties of recent years have rallied and tempered the whole country and all women. Whatever happens, God forbid, of course, but the Belarusian Women’s Union will always be at the forefront of good and necessary initiatives in our country.”

On her own behalf and as the Press Secretary of the Head of State, she wished the Belarusian Women’s Union interesting and bright projects, including those with the participation of the President.

“Peaceful, creative, and bright projects should appear. The Presidential Administration, of course, will always support them with great pleasure, knowing the attitude of the President towards our women.”
