EEC and the WHO Regional Office for Europe sign memorandum of co-operation
A memorandum of understanding between the Eurasian Economic Commission and the WHO Regional Office for Europe has been signed in Minsk – as informed by the Healthcare Ministry’s press service
The signing ceremony took place as part of the 34th session of the CIS Healthcare Co-operation Council which is currently being hosted by the Belarusian capital.
The document was signed by the WHO Regional Director for Europe – Hans Kluge, and the Board Member (Minister) on Technical Regulation of the Eurasian Economic Commission – Viktor Nazarenko.
Among the Council members are healthcare ministers and chief state sanitary inspectors. The Chairman of the Council, Belarus’ Healthcare Minister – Dmitry Pinevich – is expected to later speak on the results of Belarus’ presidency in the Council.
