Economist sheds light on US Dollar future

After decades of American financial hegemony, discontent with the US Dollar is growing worldwide. In 2022, the IMF calculated that almost 30 percent of emerging markets and 60 percent of low-income countries experience a debt crisis, or are close to it. Doctor of Economics Valery Bainev commented on the situation.

“It is not worth noting that there is disappointment with the Dollar, and so on. Its fate is now being decided in Donbass, since this currency is actually secured by fear – that the NATO armed forces will punish anyone who is disappointed in the US money. The events in Ukraine are a kind of mutiny aboard. As a result, everyone is waiting for the outcome of this battle. If Russia wins, the Yuan will become the world currency, and China will win in an economic sense. If it loses, then the Dollar will remain the world currency: the United States will show that anyone who rebelled and openly opposed its currency will be torn to pieces, like Gaddafi, Hussein and many other leaders,” the economist said.
