EAEU mutual trade in goods rose by 10.3% in 2022

According to the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB), in 2022, mutual trade of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) reached its maximum level, amounting to $80.6bn – an increase of 10.3 percent against 2021 – as reported in the EDB press service

According to the report, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan increased their export supplies to the EAEU by $9.8bn (1.4 times year on year), of which to Russia — by $9.5bn. Thus, Armenia’s exports to the EAEU increased by $1.6bn (2.8 times), those of Belarus – by $5.6bn (1.3 times), of Kazakhstan – by $1.9bn (1.2 times), and of Kyrgyzstan – by $646m (1.8 times).

The importance of the EAEU market for Armenia and Kyrgyzstan has increased significantly. The share of the EAEU member states in the total exports of Armenia increased from 29.3 percent to 46.8 percent, in Kyrgyzstan – from 28.8 percent to 65.8 percent, the EDB press service added.
