Dzermant about situation with refugees

Despite the information blockade, Belarus managed to get through to the world’s population and reveal the whole truth about the situation on the Belarusian-Polish border, said political scientist Aleksei Dzermant while sharing his views with Alfa Radio

“Despite the information blockade and attempts to defame Belarus, we’ve managed to get through to a significant part of the planet’s population. The situation at the border was made absolutely transparent, our President gave interviews to the world media several times, so the problem could not be silenced. Unfortunately, so far all the main international structures are not working enough to stop this stream of deaths. They are not putting pressure on their governments to take action. The situation on the border is quite disastrous, because the regimes – both Lithuanian and Polish – proceeding from the Polish soldier’s revelations, take extremely harsh and inhumane measures: they shoot and kill. All this, of course, still needs to be investigated and proven, but we see that even here there is a slowdown in the adoption of real measures [that would allow] to settle this situation,” noted the political scientist.

He also said that so far, European politicians are not ready to take any real measures to stop this stream of refugee deaths, which Emil Czeczko spoke about.
