Draft agreement on common competition rules for Belarus, Russia approved

The Council of Ministers has approved a draft agreement between the governments of Belarus and Russia on common competition rules as a basis for negotiations, following Resolution No. 736 of the Council of Ministers as of October 31st, 2022, the National Legal Internet Portal reports

The resolution states that the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade is authorised to conduct negotiations on the draft agreement. It is allowed, if necessary, to make changes to the document, if these are not of a fundamental character. In addition, the Ministry is authorised to sign the document upon reaching an agreement within the approved project.

The resolution comes into force from the date of its adoption.
