Dmitry Baskov: 2nd CIS Games will show us incredible potential of new generations of Belarusian athletes

The 2nd CIS Games are large-scale multi-sport competitions where our young athletes can show their best qualities and get a unique competitive experience – as noted by member of the Standing Commission on Education, Science, Culture and Social Development of the Council of the Republic Dmitry Baskov

He stressed, “The 2nd CIS Games is also an opportunity to show the beauty and cultural wealth of our country, to acquaint our foreign partners with world-class sports facilities. It is not the first time that Belarus is hosting major international competitions, but every time it approaches this with all responsibility, trying to create the most comfortable conditions for all participants and guests for competitions and stay in the country. I’m convinced that this time the 2nd CIS Games will show us the incredible potential of new generations of Belarusian athletes and underline the high status of our country as one of the best organisers of major sporting events.”
