Dialogue at heart of diplomacy: Belarus’ Ambassador to Korea met with Seoul students

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Korea, Andrei Chernetsky, delivered a lecture to high school students at the 29th Global Diplomatic Forum organised by the Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership Korea Foundation at Hoseo University in Seoul, sb.by reports with reference to Belarus’ Foreign Ministry

The lecture focused on the current challenges and new prospects for co-operation between countries and regions in the context of high volatility of international contacts and a rapidly changing world order.

During his speech, the diplomat highlighted the complex nature of modern geopolitical trends and emphasised the role of dialogue as the main tool of diplomacy.

Mr. Chernetsky also paid attention to the history of development and the current state of Belarusian-Korean relations, the efforts of the Republic of Belarus within the framework of the UN global agenda, the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals, co-operation on combating climate change, food security, and environmental protection.

At the end of the lecture, the Belarusian diplomat gave comprehensive answers to the students’ questions.
