Despite unprecedented pressure, Belarus remains responsible participant of international relations

Speaking about the tasks of inter-parliamentary activities, the Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus, Vladimir Andreichenko, noted that they remain unchanged, underlining that in the conditions of international turbulence, deputies should concentrate on promoting a unifying agenda in the spirit of the country’s peaceful foreign policy

“Peace is the most important value for us, so deputies are obliged to constantly broadcast this idea at all inter-parliamentary platforms, within the framework of meetings of friendship groups, work with the international community and the Belarusian diaspora. Moreover, our partners must clearly understand that without a sovereign and socially and economically prosperous Belarus, there can be no full-fledged peace and stability in the region,” emphasised Mr. Andreichenko.

He also added that today, despite the unprecedented pressure, our country remains a responsible participant of international relations. Therefore, the solution of European security problems without Belarus’ equal participation is counterproductive and does not meet the interests of the peoples of the countries of the region.
