Deputy PM Petkevich authorised to represent Belarus’ interests in EAEU and CIS
Deputy Prime Minister Natalya Petkevich has been authorised to act as Belarus’ representative, to oversee the country’s activity within EAEU. She has also been appointed Belarus' national co-ordinator for the CIS issues. Head of State Aleksandr Lukashenko signed relevant decree No. 208 on May 22nd, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service
The document has been adopted in order to ensure the representation and protection of the country's interests within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union and the Commonwealth of Independent States, and to implement state policy in relevant areas.
