Deputies’ appeal regarding Polish wall in Belovezhskaya Pushcha handed over to Italian MP
Chargé d’Affaires of Belarus in Italy Kirill Petrovsky held a meeting in Rome with a member of the Chamber of Deputies of the Italian Parliament (League faction) Vito Comencini – as reported in the Belarusian diplomatic mission
The parliamentarian was given an appeal sent to him by the Chairman of the Standing Commission on Ecology, Nature Management and the Chernobyl Disaster of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus, Nikolai Vasilkov, and the Chairman of the Standing Commission on International Affairs of the House of Representatives of Belarus, Andrei Savinykh. The letter concerns an ecological catastrophe in the Belovezhskaya Pushcha because of the wall constructed by Poland on the border with Belarus.
During the meeting, Kirill Petrovsky and Vito Comencini discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral liaisons: political, economic and humanitarian. The intention to maintain and develop relations between the peoples of the two countries was confirmed.
