Defence Ministry: Belarus to further take measures to improve its defence potential
Belarus will continue to take measures aimed at improving the country's defence potential – as informed by the Defence Ministry’s official Telegram channel
“Foreign media is now more frequently posting provocative statements by former high-ranking military figures – who are trying to present themselves as experts in military art. We are on general observing how citizens of Poland, the Baltic States and Ukraine are being accustomed to the idea of the inevitability of war. Further enhancement of Belarus’ defence potential will become a response to provocative statements. We will increase the intensity of combat training and continue to carry out reconnaissance tasks to prevent a sudden attack on the state," the Defence Ministry said in its statement, explaining that such tasks as operational creation of groups of troops in various operational areas will be worked out, while various ways to repel military aggression against our country will be trained.
"These are the approaches that will be used in training of the Armed Forces in 2021-2022," the Defence Ministry clarified.
