Defence Minister: Belarus determined to further intensify fruitful co-operation with Chinese army
Belarus appreciates the constructive dialogue, exchange of experience and close co-ordination between the defence ministries of the republic and China – as stated by Belarus’ Defence Minister, Lieutenant General Viktor Khrenin, at a solemn event on the occasion of the 98th anniversary of the founding of the People's Liberation Army of China
Mr. Khrenin expressed his deepest respect and gratitude to the valiant soldiers of the Chinese army for their selfless service and fighting readiness to defend the Motherland.
“I would especially like to congratulate the People's Liberation Army veterans. In this jubilee year, the year of the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War and the 80th anniversary of the victory over Japan and the end of World War II, we thank these people for today's peaceful sky, for their courage and the steadfastness of the true defenders of the Fatherland,” the Defence Minister said, adding that Belarus is determined to further intensify and expand fruitful co-operation with the People's Liberation Army of China in all areas of mutual interest.
"We are confident that the friendship and co-operation between Belarus and China will continue to strengthen, contributing to the security of our states and peoples, as well as maintaining world peace,” Mr. Khrenin stated.
The Lieutenant General wished good health and well-being to all servicemen, veterans and their families, also wishing prosperity and peace to the Chinese people.
