Dairy products long been Belarus’ business card
Dairy products have long been the hallmark of Belarus, and the country is among the top five global exporters owing to their highest quality, strict adherence to regulatory legal acts and technical requirements in the production process – as stated by Vadim Pobedinsky, the Head of the Main Department of the Processing Industry at Belarus’ Ministry of Agriculture and Food
“In 2023, 59 countries bought Belarusian dairy products. Moreover, 60 percent of the milk produced in the country and 75 percent of the butter are exported. Speaking of cheeses, our factories produce enough of them in just one and a half months to satisfy the domestic market, and the rest of the time is devoted to export-oriented production,” Mr. Pobedinsky said.
