CSTO Indestructible Brotherhood 2024 to be held in Kazakhstan

In early October, the Indestructible Brotherhood 2024 command and staff exercises with the CSTO peacekeeping forces will be held on the territory of Kazakhstan – as informed by the Chief of the CSTO Joint Staff, Colonel-General Andrei Serdyukov

“It is planned to train the issues of regrouping national contingents, the formation of collective peacekeeping forces in the designated area, planning and conducting a peacekeeping operation. At the same time, the work of the command of the peacekeeping collective forces will be based on decisions developed during the command and staff training held in March. Taking into account the importance of the electronic warfare system, the joint use of electronic warfare forces and means of the organisation's member states will also be worked out,” Mr. Serdyukov said.

The Colonel-General recalled that it was in Kazakhstan in January 2022 that the collective forces of the organisation were involved for the first time to normalise the situation in connection with the threat to the security, stability and sovereignty of the country.
