Criminal case against some Poles for war propaganda opened in Belarus
Belarus’ Prosecutor General’s Office has opened a criminal case against a number of Polish citizens under the War Propaganda article – as informed by the Prosecutor General of Belarus, Andrei Shved
“We have recorded repeated public statements by a number of Polish citizens, including officials, with calls to carry out aggression by Poland against Belarus. In this case, we are talking about the presence of an element of crime under article 123 of the Criminal Code (War Propaganda). In this regard, the Prosecutor General's Office has opened a criminal case; its investigation will be overseen by the Investigative Committee of Belarus,” Mr. Shved said.
According to the Prosecutor General, relevant information about criminal acts committed by senior Polish officials will be sent for legal assessment to all international organisations, including the United Nations, the Council of Europe, and others.
