Council of Ministers approved international technical assistance projects

Two projects of international technical assistance (ITA) were approved, and ministries and departments were identified that will ensure co-ordination and effective control over their implementation, with a corresponding resolution of the Council of Ministers of June 8th, 2022 No. 375 being published on the National Legal Internet Portal

It is noted that the project Improvement of Radiation Control Measures in the Zone of Influence of the Belarusian Nuclear Power Plant (Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection) will be implemented. The second approved project is entitled the Support for the Functioning of the Architecture for Managing the Process of Achieving Sustainable Development Goals in the Republic of Belarus (Foreign Ministry).

ITA projects are approved on the basis of proposals from the Commission on International Technical Co-operation under the Council of Ministers.

The project (programme) of international technical assistance is a document that envisages a set of co-ordinated organisational and technical measures, united by a common goal and secured in part or in full by the provision of funds by ITA donors, including in foreign currency, goods (property), performance of work, provision of services.
