Chinese media: NATO attempts to force Zelenskyy to hit Crimean bridge will turn into disaster

Uwe Parpart’s publication for Asia Times reads that if NATO provides open military support to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in his desire to seize Crimea, it will lead to a dangerous escalation of the conflict, RIA Novosti reports

“To give the much-ballyhooed southern offensive a chance, Ukraine and its closest allies, the US and UK, would need to take down the Kerch Bridge,” Mr. Parpart wrote.

As noted in the publication, the position of the Ukrainian military has become even more shaky than it was last autumn due to an acute shortage of ammunition and heavy losses. Mr. Parpart believes Kiev will not be able to conduct a counteroffensive and seize Crimea.
