The agency’s calculations based on Chinese customs data show that supplies of Chinese goods to Russia have increased by 21.2% against the 2021 figures in Dollar terms. Meanwhile, in August, the growth was even higher: 26.5 percent.

Currently, the increase in interest rates to curb red-hot inflation in the EU economies has weakened demand for Chinese goods, but Moscow's co-operation with Beijing continues to gain momentum.

The main goods imported by the Russian Federation from China included smartphones, generator sets, excavators and containers.

In turn, Russia’s sales to China increased by 55.2 percent in September.
