“Over the past 30 years, more than $500m of technical and economic assistance from the PRC has been allocated. Today, large-scale projects are also being implemented: two sports facilities – an international-class swimming pool and a stadium, as well as social housing. Over three stages of assistance to Belarus in the construction of social housing over 256 thousand square metres will be built.”

Mr. Snopkov also said that in the course of the dialogue, the leaders of the two countries raised the issue of the access of Belarusian goods to the Chinese market, “The Chinese are very fond of Belarusian products and have repeatedly said that they are ready to buy a lot of our products. The only question is that we must be able to sell them. Over thirty years, China has become Belarus’ second trade partner. Exports of our goods to China are growing every year at a rate of at least 20-25 percent, especially what concerns food products.”
