China to gradually lift entry restrictions for tourists
The Chinese authorities plan to gradually lift restrictions on entry into the country – as noted by the Chinese government’s press service, RIA Novosti reports
According to Tourdom, the new draft rules are meant to make it easier to visit settlements along China’s border. Visits there have been limited since the start of the spread of COVID-19. It is assumed that tour groups organised by Chinese agencies will have the opportunity to flexibly choose the place of entry and exit.
Specific measures and dates for their implementation are currently unknown.
In China, at least 248,300 people have been diagnosed with COVID-19 for all the time. At least 239,400 patients have recovered from the coronavirus. The total number of deaths from COVID-19 in China exceeded 5,200.
