China says protracted Ukraine crisis not in the interests of all parties

Chinese President Xi Jinping noted that a long continuation of the Ukrainian conflict, as well as its complication, do not correspond to anyone’s interests. He made the relevant statement during a telephone conversation with German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, TASS reports.

It is known that Xi Jinping and Frank-Walter Steinmeier shared their views on the crisis in Ukraine.

“China is firmly committed to the position of promoting peace talks and believes that protracting and aggravating the crisis is not in the interests of all parties,” the Chinese President stated.
