China's position on events in Ukraine is very balanced and consistent, Makei believes
In an interview with China Central Television, Belarus’ Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei said China's position regarding the events in Ukraine is very balanced and consistent, BelTA reports with reference to Belarus’ Foreign Ministry
"It seems to us that China's position is very balanced and consistent, and that the statements made by the Chinese leadership – including the Head of State, the Foreign Minister and official representatives of government departments – are aimed at finding of a peaceful solution to this conflict as soon as possible during negotiations,” Mr. Makei noted.
According to Belarus’ Foreign Ministry, this coincides with the approaches of the Belarusian side.
"We are ready to co-operate with this great country in finding ways to resolve this crisis situation," Mr. Makei emphasised.
