China resumed visa issuing to Japanese

The Chinese Embassy in Tokyo announced that the issuance of visas to Japanese travellers has been resumed, social network WeChat reports

On January 10th, the Chinese Embassy and Consulate in Japan stopped issuing visas to Japanese as a response to the mandatory measures for Chinese travellers going to Japan. Tokyo obliged them to provide a certificate of a negative COVID-19 test made 72 hours before departure, and also to take a PCR test on arrival.

According to the diplomatic mission, the Chinese Embassy and Consulate in Japan have resumed issuing regular visas for Japanese citizens travelling to China.
