China began to produce humanoid robot assistant

China’s Shenzhen Yuejiang Technology Co., Ltd. has developed a bionic humanoid robot to help with housework. Such robots are expected to go into mass production in 2025, sb.by reports citing the Chinese Embassy in Belarus.

These robots can prepare breakfast on their own: frying bacon and toast, pouring drinks, and setting the table. They have 28 degrees of freedom in their upper limbs and a neuron-controlled system of self-developed dexterity. In the corporate sector, robots can deliver documents, greet guests and serve coffee.

Mass production is due to start in 2025.
