Chebotar called Belarusian IT-sphere dynamically developing area

Belarus’ First Deputy Economy Minister Yuri Chebotar said that today the IT industry in Belarus is a dynamically developing area that boasts significant potential for further growth – as reported on the official website of the Economy Ministry of Belarus

According to Mr. Chebotar, the share of the IT sector in Belarus’ GDP exceeds 7 percent. He added that the Economy Ministry is actively involved in the digitalisation of our state. “The Ministry of Economy already today provides an opportunity to access the electronic register of licenses. In the near future, we will also provide relevant digital services for administrative procedures,” commented the First Deputy Minister. “We annually organise an industrial-practical conference on smart industry. This question is currently of interest to many who are immersed in the production agenda and efficiency improvement. This conference will be held as part of TIBO-2022 event. We tried to invite the widest possible range of experts, both Belarusian and foreign, for a rich and productive dialogue.”

Yuri Chebotar invited all those interested to take part in the 28th International Specialised Exhibition TIBO-2022, which will be held from June 6th-10th in Minsk. He expressed confidence that the events – held within the framework of the exhibition – ‘will enable our colleagues, representatives of the expert and business community and foreign partners to find mutually beneficial solutions and move forward on this agenda.”
