“Charter flights by the Belarusian airline from Minsk National Airport to Salalah resort in Oman will launch on February 27th,” the agency stated. “In addition to the flight consolidator, another two Belarusian tour operators also booked seats."

They added that flights to Oman target primarily those who want to relax on the gorgeous beaches of the Indian Ocean in spring of 2025 and are looking for an affordable alternative to the Maldives, the Seychelles, or the Mauritius Island.

A flight to Salalah will last approximately 7 hours; the programme allows each passenger 14 kilogrammes of baggage in the hold and another 5 in the cabin. 8, 9, or 10 days’ long tours can be booked; prices start from the equivalent of $1,767 per 8 days for two people.

“The Salalah resort in the eponymous region in the southern Oman has lately become a popular beach vacation destination not only for the Omani or residents of nearby Middle-Eastern countries, but for the Europeans as well,” RUTO elaborated. “Charter flights carrying tourists from Germany, Italy, Slovakia, Poland, the Czech Republic, and Romania land there from October till May. Salalah is the second largest city in Oman, located in the south of the country. Called also ‘the Caribbean of the Orient’, it offers wide beaches with fine white sand, warm turquoise sea, dolphins, and rich aquatic life. Conditions for water sports and diving are excellent there, while the nature inspires with its variety: mysterious deserts and lush oases. Picturesque hills hide banana plantations, coconut trees, groves of pomegranates, peaches, nut and papaya trees. The monsoon season that starts in June transforms the Salalah desert into a magnificent garden with waterfalls and springs surrounded by lush greenery."

Most hotels in the region are beach vacation spots along the waterfront with spacious grounds and private beaches. They generally employ full board and all-inclusive catering systems which is a plus for tourists from Belarus. Some hotels in the city also offer accommodations along with free transfer to the beach, or affordable beach club entrance passes.
