Central Election Commission: 7.81% turnout registered on first day of early voting in Belarus’ Presidential election
On the first day of early voting in the Presidential election of the Republic of Belarus, January 21th, the turnout made 7.81 percent, sb.by reports with reference to the Central Election Commission
According to the source, 8.95 percent of citizens received ballots in the Brest Region, 7.45 percent in the Vitebsk Region, 7.01 percent in the Gomel Region, 6.08 percent in the Grodno Region, 8.52 percent in the Minsk Region, 7.25 percent in the Mogilev Region, and 8.54 percent in the city of Minsk.
As reported, 44,361 national observers are monitoring the voting process in the country.
