Cai Qi: China-Belarus relations entered period of best development in history

During his today’s meeting with President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Secretary of the Secretariat and Director of the General Office of the Central Committee of the CPC, Cai Qi, noted that China-Belarus relations have entered the period of their best development in history, BelTA reports

“Chinese-Belarusian relations of all-weather comprehensive strategic partnership continue their rapid development under the strategic leadership of you and Xi Jinping,” Cai Qi stressed. “Our relations can be said to have entered the period of their best development in history."

He noted that the leaders of Belarus and China recently held a substantive meeting, during which a number of agreements were reached and new plans were outlined for the further development of bilateral relations. Cai Qi assured of the Chinese side's readiness to jointly implement all the agreements reached, promote multifaceted co-operation and fill bilateral relations with new content.

Cai Qi also thanked Aleksandr Lukashenko for accepting the invitation to attend the celebrations of the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and in the World Anti-Fascist War scheduled to be organised in Beijing on September 3rd.
