Bundestag called dialogue the only way to settle Ukrainian conflict
The conflict between the Ukrainian and Russian sides can only be resolved at the negotiating table – as stated by the leader of the faction of the Social Democratic Party of Germany, Rolf Mützenich, RIA Novosti reports with reference to German Die Zeit
According to the politician, the hostilities will not lead to the speedy completion of the special operation.
“I continue to believe that this conflict will not end with an absolute victory on the battlefield, but only with negotiations, agreements,” Mr. Mützenich said.
He added that the parties to the conflict should always be able to indicate their readiness to start peace negotiations. So far, in his opinion, neither side has signaled intentions to cease fire.
Earlier, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov said that at the moment there is no talk of returning to negotiations with Kiev.
