BSUPC and Guangzhou University discussed joint curriculum

The Belarusian State University of Physical Culture (BSUPC) and the Guangzhou University (China) discussed their partnership prospects, sb.by learned from the BSUPC press service


As Guangzhou University Vice President, professor Wu Kaijun pointed out, the main goal of their visit was to look for partnership opportunities in education, science, physical culture, and sports.

“We propose a student and teacher exchange programme. We have all the capabilities and an enormous potential for that. The Confucius Institute is already operating at the Belarusian State University of Physical Culture,” said Mr. Wu.

The Vice President was accompanied on his visit by Academic Affairs Office Director, professor Yanggang Nie, International Relations Office Deputy Director, professor Zhicheng Ke, School of Music and Dance Vice Dean Songdong Li, and School of Physical Education Vice Dean, professor Zhenjun Zhu.

BSUPC’s Vice-Rector on Science Tatsiana Morozevich, together with her co-workers, supported this initiative, and offered to host an international research and education conference in Minsk in 2025. Aside from her, the Belarusian group also included Vice-Rector on Education Galina Bashlakova, BSUPC Confucius Institute Director Natalya Kosteeva, Philosophy and History Department assistant professor Svetlana Sidorova, Head of Innovation Sports Technologies Department Yekaterina Tsedrik, and senior teacher Olga Mirolyubova from the Foreign Languages Department.

The BSUPC press service added that the parties also discussed a joint curriculum with state-issued graduation diplomas for Belarusian and Chinese students.
