BSU participating in international exhibition in Tajikistan

From April 14th to 18th, the international festival-exhibition of universities takes place in Tajikistan. The Belarusian State University presents its educational potential at this prestigious event, sb.by reports with reference to the BSU press service.

It is specified that the event took place in three cities simultaneously: Dushanbe, Bokhtar and Khujand. The initiative aims to advance scientific knowledge among young people, career guidance and provide assistance to school students in choosing a future profession. 

“Information about the educational activities of faculties and institutes, admission rules, tuition costs, as well as professional events and training courses is available on the BSU stand,” the BSU press service gave details.

“The staff of the Belarusian university guide the students on the specialties of the university with regard to the interests and preferences of the applicants.”

As the institution added, the BSU stand is also captivating for actual students. The youngsters are informed about the opportunities of studying for a Master’s Degree and modes of additional education on retraining programmes at the main university of Belarus.

Interesting fact: during the work of BSU’s information stand it was visited by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Tajikistan Victor Denisenko, Deputy Prime Minister of Tajikistan Dilrabo Mansouri and Minister of Education and Science Rahim Saidzoda.

As a matter of fact, the programme of the festival includes theme-based round tables, cultural events and exhibitions of educational infrastructure, as well as meetings of schoolchildren and students with representatives of embassies and rectors of various universities of the world. This year, delegations from more than 80 universities from 13 countries took part in the festival. On the first day of the event, more than six thousand students visited the exhibition.

The large-scale festival is hosted by the Ministry of Education and Science of Tajikistan and governmental institution International Programmes Centre.
