BSU, Myanmar outline prospects for co-operation in education and science

Co-operation in education and science between the Belarusian State University (BSU) and Myanmar was discussed during the official visit to this country by BSU First Vice Rector Dmitry Kurlovich as a member of the Belarusian delegation headed by Foreign Minister Maxim Ryzhenkov, sb.by reports citing the BSU press service

It is noted that one of the key events of the visit was the Belarusian-Myanmar business forum in Yangon with the participation of about 90 representatives of business circles and government agencies of the two countries.

“A series of negotiations took place,” the press service noted. “Among them was a meeting between Dmitry Kurlovich and Myanmar Deputy Minister of Education Zaw Myint.”

The higher education establishment added that representatives from the Mandalay University of Foreign Languages, the Yangon University and the Mandalay University also attended the event.

As it became known, the parties reached agreements on signing memorandums of co-operation in education and science in the near future and outlined the vectors of interaction in these areas.
