BSEU, Lanzhou University of Finance and Economics signed agreement to deepen co-operation
The Belarusian State Economic University (BSEU) and the Lanzhou University of Finance and Economics (Lanzhou, China) have agreed to deepen co-operation, the Belarusian university’s press service reports
“BSEU Rector Aleksei Yegorov and Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Olga Morozevich have visited the Lanzhou University of Finance and Economics,” the press service noted. “During the visit, the rectors of the two universities held talks. A working group meeting was also held to discuss and agree on the areas of deepening co-operation. In particular, the parties agreed to implement joint educational programmes and approved the details of the annual co-operation plan with the Gansu Institute in Belarus and the Lanzhou University of Finance and Economics’ Institute for Belt and Road Economic Research.”
Another important event for BSEU was the solemn ceremony of Mr. Yegorov and Ms. Morozevich becoming honorary professors of the university. In addition, the opening ceremony of the Belarusian-Chinese joint laboratory of digital economy took place within the framework of the 24ZDWA007 project, approved by the Gansu Provincial Science and Technology Department.
The Lanzhou University of Finance and Economics holds a unique position as the only higher education institution in the field of finance and economics in the Gansu Province, the Qinghai Province and the Ningxia Autonomous Region. Ranked as high as 613 in the Webometrics Ranking Web of Universities, it has been a reliable partner of BSEU for more than 10 years.
