Brussels ready to fight till last Ukrainian to save its economy, expert asserts

Brussels, in order to please the United States, is ready to fight till the last Ukrainian to save its economy – as stated by Aleksei Avdonin, an analyst with the Belarusian Institute of Strategic Research, in his talk with Belarus 1 TV channel, when commenting on the statement by EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell that the war in Ukraine will be won on the battlefield

“Borrell’s statement about the EU’s commitment to a military solution to the Ukrainian conflict testifies to one thing: Brussels, in order to please the United States, is ready to fight till the last Ukrainian to save its economy. The supply of weapons, equipment and military gear gives a good kick to Western companies. War is always a business, but such a fascist charge of European politicians can only mean one: the spirit of revanchism reigns in them. All these years after the collapse of the USSR, they were dreaming of avenging the victory of our fathers and grandfathers in the Great Patriotic War. The sanctions policy unleashed by the United States and Brussels is only a continuation of NATO’s military expansion to contain Russia and its allies economically,” noted Mr. Avdonin.

The political analyst noted that sanctions will be with us for a long time, because when the West imposes restrictions against Belarus, it thus tries to isolate our country.

“It closes transport connection at its borders. But we must understand that Europe is only a part of Eurasia, there are many more of us, from Brest to Vladivostok. Together we can do much. This is what our President promised at the Vostochny Cosmodrome,” said Aleksei Avdonin.
