Brazil to invite BRICS countries to use cryptotechnology to facilitate trade

Brazil intends to invite the BRICS member states to use blockchain to simplify trade and financial transactions, TASS reports citing the Globo newspaper

The initiative is being developed by the Central Bank and the Finance Ministry of Brazil and may be presented in July 2025 at the unification summit in Rio de Janeiro. Its implementation will reduce dependence on the dollar and strengthen economic cooperation within the bloc.
