Biden predicts new COVID-19 pandemic

During a briefing at the White House, American leader Joe Biden mentioned the risk of a new pandemic – urging the world to prepare for it, RIA Novosti reports

According to the US President, the second pandemic will require much more spending than the first one. “We need more money to plan for the second pandemic. There is going to be another pandemic. We have to think ahead. That is what we need money for," Biden said, answering a question from reporters about additional funding for a project to combat coronavirus in America.

According to Johns Hopkins University, the number of coronavirus related deaths in the United States has exceeded one million – placing the country ahead of others in this regard.
