Belkommunmash hopes to supply electric buses to Uzbekistan

Belkommunmash is counting on the supply of electric buses to Uzbekistan – as Belkommunmash’s Director General Oleg Bytsko told the sb.by portal

“A few years ago, we conducted a trial operation of the Belarusian electric bus in Tashkent. We promote vehicles with fast charging, but the city needs electric buses with night charging. Therefore, the last tender was won by Chinese manufacturers. Now, we have produced equipment with such characteristics and will demonstrate it at the Innoprom. Central Asia exhibition. We’re ready to continue taking part in tenders. In general, we view the Uzbek market as promising and capacious. As far as we know, Samarkand and Bukhara are already going to actively introduce electric transport.”

The Innoprom. Central Asia international specialised exhibition is the largest industrial trade fair, bringing together about 10,000 businessmen from all over the world. Belarus will be represented by the Made in Belarus collective stand.
